The Search

The Job Description
During our initial meeting our goal will be to understand your organization's culture and your expectations of the new executive. We need to agree on the compensation range and learn about the personal and professional traits of the candidate you are seeking, as well as their peers and superiors. After spending considerable time with you, only then do we write a custom tailored job description that will be used as a blueprint to conduct the search.

The Plan
Once we understand your requirements, we will determine where the best prospects are, and more importantly, how do we present your opportunity so that it attracts the very best candidates?

Execution
Often times this part of the search will require literally hundreds of cold calls, combing the internet, targeted mailings and sourcing of industry contacts. We then personally interview only those candidates that match your criteria and are motivated to explore a new career opportunity.

Coordination
After we present our shortlist of candidates, our staff will assist in arranging personal interviews and manage the details of travel etc… During this time we will strive to create the best possible interviewing environment. After each meeting we will debrief each party to ensure optimum communication.

References
Here, we strive to learn as much as we can by talking with the candidate's former colleagues, subordinates, clients and employers. This will enable you to make a more informed decision and better manage the chosen candidate.

The Offer
At this critical stage it is important that we talk often. Our goal will be to provide you with all the information you will need to choose the right candidate.

The Counter
It will happen. Counter offers are rampant; everyone wants to hold on to talent. Good candidates are well paid. It is absolutely essential to structure an offer that will give the candidate incentive to accept…. happily. This will inevitably set the tone for a positive relationship.

The Transition
This is where everything can fall apart. We all need to communicate often at this point. It is important that we reinforce enthusiasm and assist both parties with any unforeseen issues during the transition.
